If you ask anybody in the street "Do you believe in aliens?", the answer is nearly always a definitive "No!", despite their fascination and acceptance of movies like Star Wars and Star Trek which are full of interesting alien beings.

Now if you told them that there were an estimated 50 sextillion (50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) inhabitable planets in the universe then they might pause to rethink before they answered.

Whether they have the ability or any interest in visiting our Earth is another story but if you have studied Von Daniken's books and the many other authors then you might be leaning towards saying that they already have.

Have scientists and engineers created an aircraft that resembles a flying disc? The answer to that is yes.

Have they developed anti-gravity technology and are keeping it out of the public eye? The answer to that, in my opinion, is that it is very likely. And would they use these craft to scare the public into giving even more authority and power to an unscrupulous government. Well in my experience that would be very likely too.

Now, if you are researching subjects like a Matrix type artificial reality or holographic universe then anything is possible.

I personally am a believer in Creationism. Any look at the complexity of the cosmos and of life itself gives a lot of weight to this argument. So in the end I am certainly a believer in other beings in (or outside) our universe, but the exact nature of reality is still open for speculation.

I really do believe in them.  After watching some shows on the Discovery channel about things that NASA has experienced over the years.  You would almost have to be a fool not to believe in them really.  This place is just way too big for only us human beings, thats for sure
