Been living kinda Freebie for a while. Would suggest holding off until the battery/solar/free energy device arrives.
As for Bitcoin, i'm only just getting my head around the concept. Just spent a couple of days syncing with it.
BlockSize of 15gig.. and growing pretty quickly. As you say, it's still early days.
